This three-part print series traces quiet encounters between the child and sadness from the artist book Sadness Stays Sometimes. 

Through simple gestures — blooms, folds and rests— sadness gradually transforms. What first appears fragile and distant becomes something tender, almost luminous. 

The series mirrors the emotional movement of the book: how sorrow, when given space to exist, softens into care.

A little saving when the trio reunites — they’re happiest side by side!
